Project Description
Scope of Work
Part 1:Re-evaluation of the existing geotechnical design scheme
- Acknowledgment of documents to understand project features.
- Initial Site Visit and Assessment:
- Conduct a site visit to gather preliminary data and understand the current condition of the Wagon Tippler-1 and surrounding areas.
- Interact with on-site personnel to gather insights and firsthand information about the project requirements and existing challenges.
- Our team will conduct a comprehensive site inspection to identify major observations and discrepancies between the design documents and the actual site conditions. This includes checking for any structural damage, wear and tear, and deviations from the original design.
- Review of Project Specifications and Requirements:
- Analyses the project specifications and requirements as communicated by your team.
- Identify key project features, milestones, and deliverables
- Geotechnical Data Review
- Existing Geo-factual Report containing borelog details, and lab C field test reports shall be reviewed.
- Evaluate the sufficiency of existing geotechnical data.
- Identify the need for additional geotechnical investigations and laboratory tests to obtain a comprehensive understanding of soil
conditions and other geotechnical parameters
Part 2: Rehabilitation of Collapsed Portion
- New Design for Collapsed Portion: Develop a new design and excavation scheme for the collapsed portion to comply with the existing site conditions. This includes the design of retaining structure upto a depth of 14.0m from the top or rock level whichever comes first.
Part 3: Rehabilitation/Retrofitting of Wall Next to the Collapsed Portion
- Review of the design of the wall adjacent to the collapsed portion having 2 rows of anchors.
- Strengthening the existing excavated portion and designing the necessary measures to continue the excavation up to rock level. This includes the design of necessary supporting structural elements such as walers and struts etc
